We are pleased to introduce the following 2 new benefits to both our Standard and Enhanced Incomeshield Plans with effect from 1 September 2008.

1. Pregnancy Complications Benefit

Cover for expenses incurred for ectopic pregnancy, pre-eclampsia & eclampsia, disseminated intravascular coagulation, miscarriage and termination of pregnancy that is medically necessary to save the life of the insured person*.
Preferred/ Advantage/ Basic Plan P Plan A Plan B
As Charge/$7,000/$5,000/$3,500
* Subject to a waiting period of 10 months from 1 September 2008 or the Commencement Date or last reinstatement date of the Policy, whichever is the latest.

2. Congenital Abnormalities Benefit

Cover for expenses incurred for birth defects, including hereditary conditions and congenital sickness or
abnormalities+.
Preferred/ Advantage/ Basic/Plan P/Plan A/Plan B
As Charged/$10,000/$7,500/$5,000
+ Subject to a waiting period of 24 months from 1 September 2008 or the Commencement Date or last reinstatement date of the Policy, whichever is the latest

In line with these changes, the following sales and marketing collaterals have been revised. Changes are made to our materials and our main website from 23 Jul 08, 8PM onwards. (Pls see attachment)
