Back To Work

I was immensely troubled over the workload and amount of time to service my clients efficiently while having more family and personal time. While looking at some forms of time management, I came across the recent newspapers that many of us in Singapore are probably experience the same thing.

But everyone also has only 24hrs. How do we make more use of time? One of the articles I read is to suggest having lesser coffeebreaks in workplaces and take more time to finish work instead of bringing back work. Everytime, if my associate comes in to chat more on other matters I have to keep reminding myself “back to work, back to work”

The most important thing to a typical workaholic like many of our fellow Singaporeans is probably remembering to focus at work in workplace so we can spend more time with our loved ones at home

One of the time management masters Brian Tracy spoke of a little child who oftens see her father bringing work to home, and asks the mother, ” why is father always bringing back work to home?” To which the mother replies “because your father cannot finish the work and had to bring work home”

The child replied back ” Then why don’t his Boss put him in slower classes? The teachers do so for weaker students in my school.”

(If we don’t shape up our time management, we might just be a slower student in society…? Just a thought..) =)
