Recent treatment for Sinusritis: Balloon Sinuplasty and Immnotherapy
September 30th, 2008 by ALVIN SOONG
While checking on treatment of Sinusritis, the doctor recommended Balloon Sinuplasty, which is a endoscopy surgery that opens blocked sinuses without tissue or bone removal. This is a technology previously used for heart angioplasty surgery.
Another method recommend by doctor is sublingual immunotherapy. It is a 3-5 yrs treatment that can be used for age 2 and above to desensitise the sublingual route so one’s allergy does not trigger the reaction to result in sinus.
