Asia as a whole is ageing rapidly. A recent Mastercard report dubbed it a “glittering silver market”. The SICEX 2008 Conference is aimed at stimulating business interests to harness the economic opportunities of an ageing Asia. The Conference will see a convergence of professionals, business leaders, policy-makers, academia, social sector practitioners and educators from Singapore and beyond, to engage in insightful exchanges on the theme.

These issues will be discussed in a series of keynote speech, plenary sessions, dialogue discussion and breakout sessions. A detailed Conference Programme is expected in end October 2007.

Organised by Singapore’s Silver Industry Committee, the Conference will take place from 10 - 11 January 2008 at the Suntec Convention Centre.
